About Us

Our Vision

The Braided Cord Foundation envisions a world where all people have the opportunity to make meaningful and lasting choices that result in flourishing communities.

Our Mission

We believe in empowering marginalized people with resources, support, and opportunities, so that they can make meaningful and lasting decisions for their families and communities.

Our Guiding Verse

“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12
